St. Olaf senior goalkeeper Nora Forbes was named All-MIAC on Thursday after posting a 0.66 goals against average in league play.

Brindley, Forbes earn All-MIAC honors

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf sophomore Kajsa Brindley and senior goalkeeper Nora Forbes were named the MIAC women's soccer all-conference team on Thursday.

Brindley had team highs in goals (9), assists (6), shots on goal (26) and game-winning goals (4). She had all nine of her goals in MIAC play, which ranked third in the league.

Forbes went 8-7-2 with a 1.18 goals against average overall. In league play, she was even better, allowing only seven goals (0.66 GAA) in her 10 games. In her career, she went 29-20-9 and had 22.1 career shutouts.

St. Olaf, which reached the MIAC playoffs for the second straight season, had two other seniors honored as All-MIAC honorable mention selections, Emma Crumley and Amanda Leone.

The Oles' representative on the league's all-sportsmanship team is senior Susie Jelenik. A four-year starter, Jelenik had three goals which were all game-winners and finished 10th in career assists.
