Brebrick, Gratz, Roe each collect four wins at Gustavus

ST. PETER, Minn. - Billy Brebrick, Michael Gratz, and Tanner Roe each won four events to lead the St. Olaf Men's Swimming & Diving team against Gustavus Adolphus College on Friday.
Brebrick took first in the 100 butterfly (52.31) and 200 butterfly (1:55.88), and was part of the winning team of both the 200 medley relay (1:34.16) and the 400 freestyle relay (3:10.42).
Gratz joined Brebrick on both winning relay teams in addition to winning the 100 backstroke (52.26) and the 100 freestyle (46.85).
Roe also swam both winning relays. He finished first in the 200 freestyle (1:45.17) and the 200 individual medley (1:58.30).
Spencer Scarth and Nick Wilkerson had two wins apiece for St. Olaf, with Scarth taking first in the 1000 freestyle (10:04.80) and the 500 freestyle (4:54.61) and Wilkerson winning the 100 breaststroke in 59.23 and the 200 breaststroke in 2:09.88.
Evan Griffith won the 200 backstroke in 2:00.26 and Alek Rudstrom took first in the 50 freestyle (22.43) to round out the top finishes for the Oles.
St. Olaf won 14 of the 19 events, outscoring Gustavus 221 to 83.
The Oles compete next at the Roger Ahlman Invitational (diving only) in St. Paul on November 16.
