Frogner, Raney help Oles down Occidental 76-61

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Nikki Frogner recorded a double-double and Elise Raney scored 16 points to help the Oles down Occidental College 76-61 to conclude their trip in Colorado.

St. Olaf (2-0, 0-0 MIAC) led 39-36 at the break, and used an 11-0 run in the middle of the second half to win their 10th non-conference victory in their last 11 non-conference contests.

Frogner finished the game with a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Raney tallied 16 points and six rebounds. The Oles snagged 41 boards and shot 47% (25-for-53) for the second game in a row.

Occidental (0-1, 0-0) was led by Tiffany Kho with 12 points and Michelle Naito-Lo with 11 points.

St. Olaf will return to action on Nov. 23rd where they play in Decorah, Iowa against Luther College.
