MOORHEAD, Minn. - In their first away dual meet of the year, the St. Olaf wrestling team faced a nationally ranked Concordia Cobber squad. Four pins by the #11 Cobbers and three forfeits led to the 53-0 final score.

The 53 points is the second highest total in a dual match in Cobber history. Concordia took advantage of a 12-0 head start and then rattled off two pin falls followed by a technical fall to take a 29-0 lead at the halfway point of the match.

Concordia has now beaten St. Olaf in eight straight dual matches in a streak that dates back to 2002-03. The loss drops the Oles to 1-1 in dual meets this year.

The Oles will have a quick turn around and travel to Minneapolis to compete in the Augsburg Open on Saturday, November 23 at 9:00am.
