Ole men get comeback win at UW-Platteville

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Matt Hultgren had 13 points off the bench, going 5-for-5 from the field, as St. Olaf erased an 11-point first half deficit to defeat UW-Platteville in a men's basketball game on Sunday afternoon.
Sterling Nielsen and Josh Pratt added 13 points each as well, and Justin Pahl had 10 for the Oles (2-1) in the win. St. Olaf trailed by eight at the half before opening the second on a 10-2 run.
A Nathan Kuck three-pointer gave the Oles a 59-56 lead with 3:55 left. Inside the final 37 seconds, St. Olaf made its last five free throws to seal the victory.
Chas Cross and Eric Gerber had 14 points each to lead the Pioneers.
Nielsen and Cross were named to the five-member all-tournament team.
