UW-River Falls breaks free in final two periods, beats Ole women

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Katie Batters had three goals and two assists as UW-River Falls scored seven unanswered goals in the final two periods to upend St. Olaf 8-1 in a women's hockey game on Wednesday night at Northfield Ice Arena.

Batters scored a goal in the first, two in the second and assisted on the game's final two scores.

St. Olaf had a power play goal from Tara Reyelts at 9:23 of the first period, a tally that tied the game at 1-1.

Brook Story added a pair of goals for the Falcons (8-3-2).

St. Olaf returns to MIAC play on Jan. 17 with a home-and-home series with Hamline University.
