Men's hockey finishes sweep of Hamline

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's hockey team completed a MIAC sweep of Hamline University with a 4-2 win on Saturday night.

Geoff Gieni and Mark Rath scored third period goals for St. Olaf, breaking a 2-2 tie. Gieni's score came at 8:25 on assists from Steven Sherman and Andrew Anderson. Rath all but sealed the win with his shorthanded goal on a feed from David Rath at 17:39.

St. Olaf (5-9-5, 3-3-2 MIAC) held a 39-26 advantage in shots and had a 24-save performance in net from Steve Papciak.
