Ole women are third at MIAC championships

MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team finished third at the MIAC Championships, which wrapped up on Saturday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

The Oles capped the night with a second place finish in the 400 Free Relay, in a NCAA B cut time of 3:30.76.

Maddie Lee was third (52.14) with a NCAA B cut time and Sarah Kemp (53.19) sixth in the 100 Free. The Oles' Marla Thomforde was third in the consolation final to finish 11th overall.

Maggie Boling (above) was third in the 200 Breast in a NCAA B cut time of 2:23.89, while Lindsey Lee was fifth (2:24.79).

Abby Schnaith was fourth in the 200 Back, while teammate Carolyn Bernhardt was close behind in fifth. Schnaith's time of 2:05.90 is an NCAA B cut.

Alli Maxwell-Bumann was fifth in the 1650 Free.
