Olson sets meet record as Ole women compete at U's Parents Day Open

MINNEAPOLIS - Noelle Olson won the 5000 in a meet record 17:34.86 as the St. Olaf women's track and field team competed at the University of Minnesota's Parents Day Open on Saturday.

The Oles' Moriah Novacinski was second in the 26-runner 1000. She finished in 2:58.77, 1.68 seconds behind the Gophers' Stacey Swatek. Megan Holmes was 11th in the event.
