Men's track and field hosts Tostrud Classic

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's track and field team hosted the Tostrud Classic on Saturday at the Tostrud Center.
St. Olaf Highlights
Aaron Stets won the 60 in 7.12 seconds, and was runner up in the 200 (22.58).
James McFarlin (50.17) was first in the 400, as one of three Oles in the top four. Kevin Skrip (50.98) was third and Anton Hesse (52.61) fourth.
JB Tut won the 600 in 1:23.12 while Paul Berg was third with a 1:23.87. Tut later added a second place finish in the high jump (1.88 m).
In the 800, Jacob Eggers was first with a time of 1:58.66 and Christian Folken third in 1:59.00.
St. Olaf took the top two and four of the top seven spots in the mile. Grant Wintheiser won in 4:11.98 while Stefan Lemke was second in 4:24.93. Joe Coffey (4:27.57) was fourth and Paul Escher (4:35.25) seventh.
The Oles took the top three spots in the 3000, led by Jake Campbell's 8:39.12. Phillip Meyer was second (8:49.59) and Calvin Lehn third (9:05.28).
Aaron Dunphy was second in the 60 hurdles (8.93).
Ethan Lunning was third in the shot put (14.44 m) and fourth in the weight throw.
