ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Elise Raney and Kim Cerjan had 18 points each, but host Bethel made 10 three-pointers in a 68-55 MIAC women's basketball playoff victory over the visiting Oles on Tuesday night at the Robertson Center.
Raney added 14 rebounds and eight blocks as a part of her fourth straight double-double to end her career. Cerjan was 5-for-10 from the field, including 3-of-6 from the arc.
Bethel was led by Katelyn Vavra, who had 19 points off the bench. Rachel Parupsky added 11 points and 12 rebounds and Kalli Zimmermann 14 points for the Royals (20-6).
St. Olaf (14-12) went on a 12-3 run to open the second half to tie the game at 38-38 after BU had a nine-point lead at the half. The Royals then used an 11-1 rally of their own to retake control.
The Oles' 14 wins this season are the second best for the program since 1998-99. The senior class -- of Raney, Brittany Webber and Maddie Ehrich -- finished with a four-year mark of 56-46, representing the first winning class since 2002.
