Women's swimming qualifies four for NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS - The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team qualified four athletes for the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis beginning on March 19th.
The four national qualifying athletes include, Maddie Lee, Abbey Schnaith, Sarah Kemp, Carolyn Bernhardt.
Maddie Lee posted a time of 1:51.64 in the 200 freestyle earlier this year at the Jean Freeman Invitational, placing her 16th nationally.
Carolyn Bernhardt is 34th in the 100 backstroke(57.22) and 48th in the 200 backstroke (2:04.92).
St. Olaf women rank 20th nationally in the 400 freestyle relay after posting a time of 3:30.76 at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 13-15. The team also ranks 13th in the 800 freestyle (7:37.51), 40th in the 200 medley relay and 40th in the 400 medley relay.
St. Olaf women place 36th as a team in the national rankings as they prepare for the NCAA Championships beginning on March 19th.
