Raney, Cerjan earn All-MIAC honors

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf senior Elise Raney and sophomore guard Kim Cerjan were named to the MIAC women's basketball all-conference team on Thursday after helping the Oles to a 14-12 campaign and trip to the MIAC playoffs.
Raney averaged 11.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in her final season. She had double-doubles in each of her last four games, had 17 outings in double figures and finished her career with a school record 231 blocks. Her 900 career points ranks eighth all-time and her 640 rebounds are second.
Cerjan led St. Olaf in scoring (15.1 points/game) and added 5.8 rebounds. She scored in double figures in all but two games and set a school single-season record with 58 three-pointers. Her 392 points this year rank third in school history.
St. Olaf went 12-10 in MIAC play to finish fifth and qualify for the league's postseason tournament, the second appearance in the last three seasons.
Raney and the Oles' other two seniors -- Brittany Webber and Maddie Ehrich -- went 56-46 in their four-year career, which is the best mark for any St. Olaf class in 14 seasons.
