Wintheiser sets meet, facility record as Oles are second at MIAC's after day one

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Grant Wintheiser set the meet and McNeely Spectrum record with his win on Friday in the mile in 4:11.94 as St. Olaf is in second place after the first of two full days at the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Paul Escher was second in 4:14.36 in the mile.

Jake Campbell won the 5,000 while teammate Phillip Meyer was third in the event.

The Oles' Cameron Smith was second in the long jump.
