St. Olaf women's golf finishes seventh at Division III Midwest Classic

The St. Olaf women's golf team finished in seventh place at the Division III Midwest Classic in Owatonna, Minn. on Sat., Sept. 25 and Sun., Sept. 26.

The Oles shot a first round 388 and a second round 381 to earn their seventh place slot with a combined score of 769.

Berit Nelson (Sr., St. Paul, Minn.) fired rounds of 91 and 93 for a 36-hole total 184, good for an 18th place finish individually.

Other scorers for the Oles were Stacia Polzin (Sr., Bloomington, Minn.), Amy Springer (FY, Barron, Wis.), Anna Johnson (FY, Fridley, Minn.) and Emily Knutson (So., Hatton, N.D.)

The women's golf team returns to action Sat., Oct. 2 and Sun., Oct. 3 at the Saint Benedict Invitational at the Greystone Golf Course in Sauk Center, Minn.
