Collins shutout helps Oles to shutout, split with Cobbers

MOORHEAD, Minn. - Danielle Collins tossed a two-hit shutout in game one as St. Olaf split a MIAC softball doubleheader at Concordia-Moorhead on Tuesday, winning the opener 6-0 before losing 7-4 in game two.

Game One: St. Olaf 6, Concordia 0
Collins struck out three and walked one in the shutout victory. Haley Schreier was 2-for-4 with a three RBIs and Becca Walz 2-for-4 with two runs in the win.

Game Two: Concordia 7, St. Olaf 4
Concordia (6-17, 1-5 MIAC) scored four times in the first inning and held on for a 7-4 win.

The Oles' Alex Lebens homered and Schreier was 2-for-3 in the loss. St. Olaf (4-18, 4-8 MIAC) was within a run before the Cobbers scored one in the fifth and another in the sixth.
