Knights sweep Ole softball team

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Visiting Carleton College dealt St. Olaf a pair of MIAC softball losses on Thursday, defeating the Oles 1-0 in the opener and 9-2 in the nightcap at Mabel Shirley Field.

Game One: Carleton 1, St. Olaf 0
Keelin Davis limited St. Olaf to two hits in a complete game shutout victory. The Knights' only run came in the second inning on a pair of hits and an Ole error.

Game Two: Carleton 9, St. Olaf 2
Jenny Ramey was 2-for-4 with a homer, two runs and five RBI as Carleton (7-20, 5-7 MIAC) completed the sweep with a 9-2 win. Madi Emenheiser went 3-for-4 for Carleton, which had two three-run innings.

Afton Wolter was 2-for-3 in the loss for the Oles (4-20, 4-10 MIAC).
