Baseball splits with Eagles

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf walked off with a 10-9 win in game one before UW-La Crosse won the second game 15-9 in a non-conference baseball doubleheader on Monday afternoon at Mark Almli Field.
Game One: St. Olaf 10, UW-La Crosse 9
St. Olaf scored the winning run on an error, one of two UW-La Crosse errors in the seventh inning, as the Oles scored four runs in a wild seventh inning to win the opener 10-9.
St. Olaf led 6-4 entering the seventh before the Eagles plated five runs on four hits and two St. Olaf errors.
Chris Paradise, Tim Maus and Kap Davis each went 2-for-4 for the Oles in the win. Cole Cefalu was 3-for-4 with a homer for the Eagles.
Game Two: UW-La Crosse 15, St. Olaf 9
Jordan Greenland went 4-for-4 with two homers, three runs and eight RBIs as UW-La Crosse pounded out 18 hits. The Oles' Sam Maus was 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI, but the Eagles outscored St. Olaf 13-1 over the final four innings in the 15-9 win.
The Eagles had four homers in the game and seven in the doubleheader. Taylor Kohlwey went 4-for-5 and Joel Zyhowski 3-for-5.
