Saint Ben's holds off Oles in game one, completes sweep

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Lexi Alm went a combined 4-for-8 with three homers and nine RBI as Saint Ben's held off St. Olaf 11-10 in game one before completing a MIAC softball sweep with a 13-2 in game two on Saturday at Mabel Shirley Field.
Game One: Saint Ben's 11, St. Olaf 10
The Oles' Alex Lebens hit two homers, including a three-run blast in the bottom of the seventh to get the Oles within a run in the 11-10 CSB triumph. Lebens drove in six and was one of three Oles -- with Haley Schreier (3-for-4) and Becca Walz (3-for-5) -- with three hits.
Walz also homered while driving in two with two runs.
Alm hit a grand slam in the third inning and a two-run shot in the Blazers' four-run sixth.
St. Olaf, trailing 10-4 into the bottom of the sixth, scored six runs in the final two innings.
Game Two: Saint Ben's 13, St. Olaf 2
The Blazers (24-9, 11-7 MIAC) erupted for eight runs in the fourth inning as Alm hit her third homer of the afternoon.
Stephanie Borndale hit a home run for the Oles (7-25, 7-15 MIAC) in the loss.
