LAKEVILLE, Minn. - After defeating Bethel University in their first match of the spring season, the St. Olaf men's tennis team began their MIAC playoff run on a positive note Wednesday afternoon by capturing another 6-3 victory over the Royals at Lifetime Fitness Lakeville.

The Oles went into singles play down 2-1 after Stephen Nolan and Joey Kronzer was the only St. Olaf doubles team to capture a victory.

"We knew going into singles that we had work to do," said St. Olaf junior Matt Christensen. "Our mentality was to take it one point, one game at a time and we knew if we did that, the cards would fall into place."

The Oles did just that, taking five-of-six singles matches to clinch the victory.
