Women's cross country wins Dan Huston 6K

The St. Olaf women's cross country team won the Dan Huston Invitational 6K in Waverly, Iowa Saturday.

Jenna Carlson (Fy, Edina, Minn.) finished second overall as the Oles held off second-place Carleton.

Kezia Manlove (Sr., Rapid City, S.D./Stevens) was sixth and Annie Knutson (Fy, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley) eighth in the win for St. Olaf.

All seven scoring St. Olaf runners finished in the top 20. Larisa Nordstrom (Sr., West Des Moines, Iowa/Valley) was 14th, Stephanie Block (Jr., Hopkins, Minn.) 15th, Sarah Estill (Sr., Shoreline, Wash./Lakeside) 17th and Casey Baustian (So., Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Washington) was 20th.

St. Olaf also ran a group in the 4K race. Kari Koos (Sr., Leavenworth, Kan./Cascade) finished 14th and Andrea Gelle (Jr., Lakeville, Minn.) 20th.
