Women runners fifth at Pre Nationals

The St. Olaf women's cross country team was fifth of 22 teams at the Pre Nationals Meet in Colfax, Wis. Friday.

Erin Weier (So., Faribault, Minn.) was the Ole's top finisher, placing 18th with a time of 23:20.2. Stephanie Block (So., Hopkins, Minn.) was 27th, Lisa Skildum (FY, Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View) 46th, Kezia Manlove (Jr., Rapid City, S.D./Stevens) 47th and Siri Lohmann (FY, Northfield, Minn.) 56th.

St. Olaf was second among eight MIAC schools competing. Macalester edged the Oles for fourth place in the event.

St. Olaf races again at the Dan Huston Invitational in Waverly, Iowa next Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
