St. Olaf Volleyball splits in first day at Pikes' Peak Invite

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The St. Olaf volleyball team split their first two games at the Pikes' Peak Invite, dropping their first match to Gustavus Adolphus College before defeating Endicott College on Friday.

Andrea Kron led four Gusties in double digits for kills with 18 to help Gustavus top St. Olaf 32-30, 25-30, 30-26 and 30-25 in the opener.

First year Paige Olson had 17 kills in her collegiate debut to lead St. Olaf. Andrea Otteman chipped in 16 digs and 13 kills.

In the second game of the day the Oles rolled to a 30-22, 30-23 and 30-16 win over Endicott College. Jess Levin had 12 kills to pace the Oles.
