Men's Basketball
- St. Olaf (8-7, 5-5 MIAC) has won three straight to move over .500 for the first time since Dec. 1... The Oles defeated Macalester (76-70) on Wednesday, Saint Mary's (71-67) on Saturday and Concordia (68-66) on Saturday... Since the calendar turned, the Oles have won five of seven.

- Mark Torell went 7-for-7 from the arc for a career-high 23 points in Monday's win over Concordia... The Oles made a season-best 12 (of 18) three-pointers in the win... In Saturday's win over SMU, the Oles went 8-for-14 from three.

- St. Olaf hosts undefeated, second-ranked St. Thomas on Saturday. The Oles played the Tommies to an eight-point game in December.

Women's Basketball
- St. Olaf (3-11, 1-10 MIAC) lost there times this week to extend its losing streak to six... The Oles dropped games to Macalester (61-51), Saint Mary's (65-62) and Concordia (76-55) this week.

- Elyse Erickson had 31 points in Saturday's loss at Saint Mary's... The Oles led by seven at the half, but were plagued by 2-of-18 shooting from three... In the first 14 games, St. Olaf has shot better than 30 percent from three only twice.

- St. Olaf hosts the College of St. Catherine on Wednesday and St. Thomas on Saturday.

Men's Hockey
- St. Olaf (10-6-1, 6-1-1 MIAC) split a weekend two-game set against no. 12 Hamline, falling on Friday 6-2 but coming back to win 4-1 on Saturday... The Oles remain the MIAC leaders, three points ahead of the second place Pipers with a series in hand.

- The Oles defeated the Pipers 4-1 on Saturday with goals by Derek Grogan, Roger Truesdale and two by Dylan Mueller.

- St. Olaf plays Saint Mary's next weekend in a MIAC series.

Women's Hockey
- St. Olaf (5-5-3, 5-4-1 MIAC) took three of four points from Hamline this weekend, as the teams skated to a 4-4 tie at Drake Arena on Saturday before the Oles claimed a 4-3 win on Sunday.

- Kim McClintick had a goal and assist for the Oles, who moved to .500 for the first time this season with the win... The Oles now sit in a tie for third place in the MIAC points standings with a series in hand.

- St. Olaf will play UW-Stevens Point on Tuesday and St. Mary's in a home-and-home series on Friday and Saturday.

Skiing, Alpine - Men
- St. Olaf is competing at the Lutsen/Canada FIS series in Lutsen, Minn. Jan. 15-19.

- The Oles ski next on Saturday and Sunday at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn.

Skiing, Alpine - Women
- St. Olaf is competing at the Lutsen/Canada FIS series in Lutsen, Minn. Jan. 15-19.

- This weekend, St. Olaf will ski at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn.

Men's Swimming and Diving
- The St. Olaf swimming and diving team defeated Division II St. Cloud State 130-113 on Saturday afternoon.

- St. Olaf racked up eight wins in the 13 event meet, including one by the 400 yard medley relay consisting of Adam Meyer, Nelson Westby, Erik Witzel, and Brock Edwards, who finished in 3:33.78.

- Ole seniors Nelson Westby and Jake Koch each added two individual wins to the team tally. Westby won the 200 yard breaststroke and 200 yard IN, while Koch took both the 100 and 200 yard freestyles.

- St. Olaf competes on Friday at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Women's Swimming and Diving
- Division II St. Cloud State University defeated St. Olaf 135.5-73.5 in a women's swimming dual meet on Saturday afternoon.

- Ole Alli Beardsley was second in the 200 yard IM, finishing in 2:18.31. Teammate Katie Kubat added another second place finish in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:18.12.

- The Ole women compete on January 30 at the University of St. Thomas.

Wrestling
- St. Olaf fell to UW-Eau Claire on Monday, January 12 31-15.

- Individual winners in the UW-Eau Claire dual include Ian Peppel by forfeit at 125, Ryan Timmerman at 133, Michael Pitts at 141, and Bryve Mikel at 174.

- The Oles competed at the Central College Invitational on Saturday.

Men's Track and Field
- The St. Olaf men's track and field team opened their indoor season this Saturday in an unscored meet hosted by Bethel University.

- The Oles' lone event winner in the meet with Doboul Ruon, finishing the 3000 meter run in 8:57.71... Teammate David Green was second in 9:07.54.

-St. Olaf's Cullen O'Neill was second in the mile run with a time of 4:22.10. Carleton College's Charlie Gamble won the race in 4:21.41.

-The Ole men will race again January 24, when they host Hamline University and Carleton College at home.

Women's Track and Field
-Pole vaulter Amie FIllmore provisionally qualified for the Division III NCAA meet, and the St. Olaf women's track and field team opened their season this Saturday at the unscored Bethel Open.

- Amie Fillmore, a junior, was first in her event, vaulting 11'5 3/4" (3.50 meters)... Teammate Abby Smith also won her event, finishing the 800 meter run in 2:31.05.

-In the sprints, Ole Callie Knaeble was third in the 55 meter dash, and second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.32.

- The distance crew was let by Annie Knutson's win in the 3000 and second place finish in the mile.

- The team competes again on Saturday when they host the St. Olaf Triangular.
