Men's Basketball
- St. Olaf (8-13, 5-11 MIAC) has lost six in a row, including two
times this week... The Oles lost 70-58 to Saint John's on
Wednesday, and 74-69 to Bethel on Saturday... The losses leave the team in eighth place with four games left... The Oles meet Gustavus Adolphus College on Wednesday in St. Peter.

Women's Basketball
- St. Olaf (4-17, 2-16 MIAC) went 1-2 last week, beating Carleton on Monday before losing a 82-40 game to St. Ben's on Wednesday and a 63-41 game to Bethel on Saturday.

- Elyse Erickson had a team-best 15 points in Saturday's loss to Bethel... Erickson has led the way in scoring in 14 of the team's 21 games this year... In 40 career games, she has scored 672 points, good for 20th all-time at St. Olaf... Erickson did not play her first two years at St. Olaf and joined the team as a junior.

Men's Hockey
- The St. Olaf men's hockey team stayed ranked at 15th in the latest United States Collegiate Hockey Organization's Division III weekly rankings, released Monday.

- St. Olaf (14-6-1, 10-1-1 MIAC), alone in first place in the MIAC, swept Bethel last weekend 4-1 and 5-2... The Oles are two ahead of St. Thomas and three in front of Gustavus in the loss column... The Oles have never won an outright MIAC title and last shared the crown in 1937-38.

- The Oles' Nick Krauss was named the MIAC's player of the week after making 29 and 26 saves in the sweep of BU... Krauss is 11-2-0 overall and 8-1-0 in MIAC play... His .924 save percentage ranks 15th nationally.

- St. Olaf plays St. Thomas Feb. 13-14 (8-3-1 MIAC) and Augsburg Feb. 20-21 (7-7-0) in its final two series.

Women's Hockey
- The Ole women's hockey team (6-11-4, 5-7-2 MIAC) finished its trip to the East Coast on Tuesday with a 6-3 loss to Connecticut College... The Oles returned to Minnesota and lost two one-goalgames to Bethel in the weekend series.

- St. Olaf plays St. Thomas Feb. 13-14 (12-1-1) and Augsburg Feb. 20-21 (4-17-0).

Men's Swimming and Diving
- St. Olaf defeated Carleton 201-99 on Saturday... The Oles won
12-of-16 events in the meet... The Oles will host the Northfield Invitational on Tuesday in the final tuneup for the MIAC Championships, set to run Feb. 19-21 at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center.

- Senior Nelson Westby and the Oles are preparing for two months of championships... Westby, the two-time defending 200 IM NCAA Division III Champion, will go for three national titles in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast and the 200 IM at this year's championships at the University of Minnesota in March... Westby has the country's top times in each event.

Women's Swimming and Diving
- St. Olaf dropped a 210-89 meet at Carleton on Saturday.

-The Oles will host the Northfield Invitational on Tuesday, Feb. 10 -- before the MIAC Championships Feb. 19-21.

Men's Track and Field
- The St. Olaf men's track and field team was idle this week, however a few individuals competed in the Bethel Indoor Invitational on Saturday... Cullen O'Neill won the mile run in 4:18.69... In the 800 meter run Brian Burseth placed fourth and Zeke Heydenreich placed third in the weight throw...

- The team will compete next on February 13-14 at the Coca Cola Classic in River Falls, Wis.

Women's Track and Field
- The St. Olaf women's track and field team was idle this week.

- The Oles will compete next on February 13-14 at the Coca Cola Classic in River Falls, Wis.

Wrestling
- The St. Olaf Wrestling team met Concordia Unversity-Wisconsin on Saturday and lost 33-19... Ryan Timmerman, Josef Waples and Bryce Mikel won their weight classes... The Oles compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Mequon, Wis. on Feb 21.
