Men's Basketball
- St. Olaf (3-2, 0-1 MIAC) won its only game of the week, a 70-50
decision at Martin Luther on Monday night... First year Bobby Fong had 19 points for the Oles, who used a 22-6 run to open the second half in the victory.

- Fong has scored in double-digits in each of the team's first five
games and is averaging a team-best 17.8 points/game... Fellow first year Alfie Jaryan is second with 8.8 points/night... Fong and Jaryan were each three-time all-conference selections and 1,000 point scorers at Bloomington Kennedy High School.

- St. Olaf returns to MIAC play on Saturday at defending champ and sixth-ranked St. Thomas 3 p.m.

Women's Basketball
- St. Olaf (1-2, 0-1 MIAC) won its first game of 2008-09 with a 60-56 win over Luther College in the third place game at UW-Eau Claire's Thanksgiving Showcase on Saturday... Kelsey Oja had 20 points to lead the Oles, who lost to the host and 25th-ranked Blugolds in the opener.

- Oja has had the hot hand this season, going 10-for-23 from the arc in the team's first three games... She moved over 400 career points in the win, good for 29th all-time at St. Olaf.

- St. Olaf plays two MIAC road contests this week, at the College of St. Catherine on Wednesday and at St. Thomas on Saturday.

Men's Hockey
- St. Olaf (6-2-0, 4-0-0 MIAC) was idle last week... The Oles, off to
a 4-0-0 start in league play for the first time in school history,
play a pair of league games at Concordia College-Moorhead this
weekend.

Women's Hockey
- St. Olaf (1-4-1, 1-2-1 MIAC) was off last week... The Oles play a
two-game home MIAC series against Concordia College-Moorhead this weekend at Northfield Ice Arena.

Men's Swimming and Diving
- St. Olaf, idle over the last two weeks, will compete with its
swimmers at the Carthage Invitational this weekend... The divers are scheduled to compete at St. Cloud State's meet at the University of Minnesota.

Women's Swimming and Diving
- St. Olaf, idle over the last two weeks, will compete with its

Wrestling
- Waldorf College and Rochester Community and Technical College claimed dual meet wins over St. Olaf on Tuesday night... Waldorf won all but two matches in a 45-7 win before RCTC won nine of the ten bouts in a 38-3 win... The Oles' Ryan Zimmerman (133 - above) won both his matches and Josef Waples (165) picked up a victory in his match in the Waldorf dual.
