Garrison steps down
THURSDAY, APR 24, 2008 — NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf athletic director Matt McDonald announced that Ollie Garrison, head men's and women's nordic skiing coach for the last two seasons, resigned on Thursday.

SUNDAY, JAN 27, 2008 — CABLE, Wis. - The St. Olaf men's nordic ski team's Nels Dyste finished 23rd in the 10K freestyle in an NCAA Qualifier Telemark Resort to help the Oles finish seventh as a team this weekend.

Nordic men seventh at NCAA Qualifier
WEDNESDAY, JAN 23, 2008 — MARQUETTE,Mich. - Nels Dyste finished 12th in the 10K to lead the St. Olaf men's nordic ski team at the NCAA qualifier in Marquette, Mich. Tom Jorgenson placed 38th in the 15k men's classic.

TUESDAY, JAN 15, 2008 — ST. JOSEPH, Minn.- Nels Dyste took fourth place in the Saint's Invitational 12K freestyle this weekend. Jim Valliencourt finished fifteenth and Matt Rowe finished in sixteenth place helping the St. Olaf men's nordic ski team place fourth out of the eight teams.

MONDAY, JAN 7, 2008 — HOUGHTON, Mich. - Nels Dyste was 20th among Midwest Region skiers in the 10K to lead the St. Olaf men's nordic ski team at the U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships last week.

WEDNESDAY, MAR 14, 2007 — The St. Olaf men's alpine ski team placed 3rd at the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association's nationals in Winter Park, Colorado last weekend.

Nordic men finish eighth in Telemark
SUNDAY, JAN 28, 2007 — TELEMARK, Wis. - The Ole Nordic skiers traveled to Telemark this weekend where they finished eighth among college teams with 86 points. St. Olaf's top skiers Nels Dyste, Jake Boyce and Jim Vaillancourt are currently nationally rated 35th, 37th, and 39th, respectively.

Three in top 50 for men's Nordic
