Jason English joins the St. Olaf coaching staff for his initial season this fall.
As a high school player, English led his Burnsville High team to the Minnesota state championship. He played his first collegiate season at Division II Truman State, where he was selected as the league's most valuable freshmen. He then attended the University of St. Thomas for his final three seasons, where he was a starter for the Tommies earning MVP honors in his senior season.
After graduating from the University of St. Thomas he played professionally in France for three years before injuries cut short his playing career.
For the past four seasons, he served as an assistant coach at St. Thomas. He has coached at a variety of club teams in Minnesota and also at some of the top high school programs in the state.
