Kim Jones arrives at St. Olaf as assistant softball coach after traveling around the world coaching the sport.

Jones played ball at St. Clair College in Michigan and graduated from Eastern Michigan University. She went on the obtain her Master's from Northern Illinois University.

She has played softball in the Netherlands and coached the Swedish National Team for a summer. Her coaching experience also includes pitching coach at Elmhurst College, junior high and high school softball, and numerous softball clinics for both athletes and coaches. She has coached pitching to student-athletes ranging from junior colleges through Division I schools.

In Illinois, Jones owned and operated her own softball company called Jones Dugout. Currently, she owns her business, the Southeast Minnesota Baseball and Softball Academy.
