Traci Cook is in her eighth season on staff at St. Olaf in 2009. She served as the team's head coach from 2002-03 and was co-head coach from 2004-08. Last season, she eclipsed 100 career wins and posted a 105-100 mark in her seven seasons in a head coaching capacity.

Cook led the Oles to an MIAC Tournament Championship and the NCAA Tournament's second round in her first season.

She was an instrumental player in St. Olaf's dominance in the MIAC in the mid 90's. Cook and St. Olaf reached the NCAA Final Four in 1996, capturing third place as the Oles won a school record 38 matches. St. Olaf won three conference titles while Cook was on the floor, going 40-4 in league play, including two 11-0 campaigns in '94 and '96. Cook was the Conference Player of the Year and an All-American in 1997 and a three-time All-MIAC honoree.

In addition to her duties as head coach, Cook is a physical therapist in Faribault. She graduated from St. Olaf in 1998 and from the Mayo Medical School of Health Related Sciences in 2001.

A native of West Concord, Minn., Traci and her husband Kevin live in Dundas, a short one-mile drive from campus. They have one child, daughter Chloe, who was born in March of 2009.
