Audrey Ludwig is in her first season at St. Olaf as an assistant volleyball coach in 2009. She spent each of the last two seasons at Augsburg College in Minneapolis as an assistant while she completed her master's degree at the University of Minnesota.
Ludwig came back to St. Olaf last winter where she was an assistant women's basketball coach.
Ludwig, then Audrey Volstad, was a three-time All-MIAC setter at St. Olaf. She ranks fourth in school history in career set assists (4,415) and has the seventh, 10th, 13th and 17th-best single season marks. In her junior season, she helped the Oles to the MIAC playoffs semifinals.
At Yellow Medicine East High School she earned four volleyball letters and three each in basketball and softball. She was an all-conference pick in volleyball and softball and was a Minnesota State High School League AAA (Arts, Athletics, Academics) finalist.
She and her husband Mike, the school's assistant athletic director and sports information director, live in Northfield.
