Class of 2013, Welcome to life on the Hill! Are you ready?
During your first week on campus you will experience everything from the Kildahl Awkward Dance to Playfair and everything in between. The “in betweens” include activities such as eating meals in the caf, going to concerts in the Pause, going to class, and becoming an active student on campus.
During your four years at Olaf you will come to look forward to the many campus traditions including Fall Concert, Pres Ball, Lutefest, and Saturday night movies in Viking. These are only four of the hundreds of activities SGA sponsors throughout the year. SGA will also provide you with late night food, the opportunity to question a nationally-known political speaker, an awareness of international celebrations, volunteer opportunities within the community of Northfield, dances and concerts in the Pause, 130+ student organizations to join, events to learn what life after Olaf is like, the chance to represent students to the Board of Regents, and a place to discuss student concerns.
Student Government Association helps students find their niche outside of the classroom. We challenge you to take advantage of everything SGA has to offer and get involved in student life. Take a look at www.Oleville.com (the student run website) to find out more and how to contact us. Be sure to look out for fall Hall Council elections and the co-curricular fair during September. Also feel free to stop by the Office of Student Activities in Buntrock 107. We look forward to meeting and helping you on move-in day!
