JPP is one of the world's most celebrated folk bands, now celebrating its 30th anniversary with an American tour. The ensemble includes several members of the Järvelä family from Western Finland, as well as renowned keyboardist Timo Alakotila, whose music was presented in Northfield last fall by the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. JPP will also offer a fiddling workshop at 10:00 A.M. for students and folk musicians. Both events are free admission
