Join us for a day of learning and connecting on Saturday, January 19, from 12:30-5 p.m. at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, 2400 Third Avenue South.
There will be two class sessions--one with Tom Williamson, Associate Professor of Anthropology, and one with Anne Walter, Professor of Biology. A reception will follow with hearty appetizers, soft drinks, and a cash bar.
The cost for this event is $15 per person. Guests will receive a free parking voucher to use upon checkout and can park in the parking ramp south of the museum on 3rd Avenue. Head to the main museum doors on 3rd Avenue. Signs will direct you across the courtyard to the Reception Hall in the Target Wing.
The museum opens at 10 a.m. and most exhibits are free. The Terra Cotta Soldiers exhibit is available for a fee of $20 per person. Tickets for that exhibit need to be purchased through the MIA ticket office. The museum closes at 5 p.m. and all guests must be out of the door by that time.
