Talk by Professor Gordon Marino: "On the Distinction Between Despair and Depression in Kierkegaard's Writings"

Phi Sigma Tau (the philosophy honor society) presents its first faculty lecture of semester in collaboration with The Reed (the undergraduate existentialism journal) in honor of the 200th birthday of philosopher Soren Kierkegaard. The lecture will be presented by our very own Professor Gordon Marino, followed by a Q&A session.

Professor Marino is a Kierkegaard scholar, the Curator of the Hong Kierkegaard Library on campus, and the author and editor of numerous articles and collections involving Kierkegaard. Professor Marino's lecture will pertain to the question: Have we effaced the difference between psychological and spiritual disorders?

Please contact the Phi Sigma Tau officers at phisigmatau-officers@stolaf.ed with any questions!
