This presentation is based on Robyn McGee’s book written in 2006. “Hungry for More” was dedicated to her sister Cathy, who after years of struggling with her weight, took a big risk and had a gastric bypass operation. She died within days of the surgery and never made it home to show off the new body she was so desperate to possess.
McGee discovered there are lots of "Cathys" of all races. Many young women despair about being outside of what popular culture deems attractive-tall, skinny, blonde, and energetic-and often use self-destructive ways to meet an impossible ideal. “Hungry for More” offers hope and answers.

This event is a swipe event for students.
