A Gremlin Theatre production presented by St. Olaf College Artist Series and Department of Theater

Written by playwright and science teacher Paul Zindel, the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds was also adapted into an award-winning film. The play revolves around embittered boardinghouse owner Beatrice and her dysfunctional family, which consists of the beautiful but troubled Ruth and the gifted but pathologically shy Tillie. It's an unusual science project -- alluded to in the show's title -- that finally lets Tillie break free of her mother and reveal a shattering truth. -Gremiln Theatre Website
