"What We Know and Don't Know About Homosexuality: Explorations in Humility"
This conversation is facilitated by Psychology Professor, Chuck Huff.
Description: All sides in the heated discussions over homosexuality cite research to their advantage. We have been preparing a website that presents the "state of the art" in research with a clear eye to what we know and do not know. Too often the discussion is obscured by incomplete and overconfident use of research reports. Our goal is to introduce some humility (and perhaps thereby some civility) into the discussion. We will be presenting an early version of the website.
This is the fifth session in the Cultural Conversations Series sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, allowing students to engage in conversations with their peers.
