The St. Olaf College Institute for Freedom and Community will host a panel discussion titled Debating Religious Freedom Today.

The discussion, which begins at 7 p.m. in Tomson Hall 280, is free and open to the public.

The panel will include Robert George, a professor of politics at Princeton University who holds the celebrated McCormick Chair in Jurisprudence; David Little, a research fellow at Georgetown University’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, & World Affairs; and Cécile Laborde, a professor of political theory at University College London.

The Institute for Freedom and Community encourages free inquiry and meaningful debate of important political and social issues. By exploring diverse ideas about politics, markets, and society, the Institute aims to challenge presuppositions, question easy answers, and foster constructive dialogue among those with differing values and contending points of view.
