Stroke Technique Swim Camp
June 15–19
June 22–26
June 29–July 3
Stroke Technique Swim Camp focuses on the most current drills in each competitive stroke. A systematic teaching approach gives swimmers an understanding of stroke development, as well as repetitive skill rehearsal throughout the week. Particular attention is also paid to starts, turns and streamlining. Outside of the pool, swimmers work on core-body exercises to increase body strength and flexibility through a variety of dry-land exercises. Classroom activities include video instruction from current world-class swimmers and coaches, as well as individual video review and analysis throughout the week. Group sessions cover topics ranging from nutrition and goal setting to team-building exercises and race and training strategies.
Open to boys and girls ages 10 through rising high school seniors.
