Day Camp, July 7-18

 All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players

Join us for an exciting theatre experience at the St Olaf Summer Theatre Camp.  During this new and engaging offering, aspiring thespians experience many facets of theatre taught by creative professionals working in the field.

Our exciting offerings are broken down into two sessions:

Residential theatre camp, June 22–28

This intensive residential camp is for theatre artists ages 13 through 16. We explore many aspects of the theatre, including movement, vocal expression, character development, basic stage combat, theatre history, theatre games, rehearsing and auditioning.  We hope to instill in aspiring thespians a deeper understanding of what goes into producing theatre.  Technical projects involve basic design for the theatre, including scenery, lighting, costumes, and sound.  No prior theatre experience is required for this camp.  The capstone of this experience includes a full-length play that lets you showcase your recent work and creative discoveries.
