Middle East Studies

Sidhom Peterson, Sociology/Anthropology
This interdisciplinary concentration in Middle East
Studies allows students to combine courses from various departments to
complete a five-course concentration. Students must complete a designated
course/seminar on campus that could be offered by faculty in various disciplines.
The other four courses are electives chosen in consultation with the director
and may include Independent Study/Independent Research courses as well
as courses taken on relevant off-campus programs.

Political Science 254 Politics of the Middle
East
Sociology 236 Arabs and the Middle East
Students may also complete a major through the Center for
Integrative Studies.
