Intended for vocal music education students, this course introduces fundamental characteristics of orchestra and band instruments, including ranges and transpositions. Students study and learn to use basic approaches to scoring, orchestration, and arranging. Prerequisite: Music 112/114 and junior standing. Offered Fall Semester 2010-11 and alternate years.
