Curator A recipient of the Richard J. Davis Ethics Awards for excellence in writing on ethics and the law, Marino is the author of Kierkegaard in the Present Age, co-editor of The Cambridge Companion to Kierkegaard, and editor of Modern Library’s Basic Writings of Existentialism and Ethics: The Essential Writings. In addition to his scholarly publications, Marino’s essays have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, The Atlantic, Wall Street Journal, the American Poetry Review and many other national publications. As director of the Hong Kierkegaard Library, Marino is available to consult with scholars on their research and help with Kierkegaard projects. Assistant Curator/Special Collections Librarian Her interest in intellectual history began at Pembroke College in Brown University where she earned a B.A., majoring in religious studies, and later at the University of Vermont where she earned her M.A. in European history. She completed her M.L.S. degree at the Simmons Graduate School of Library and Information Science. Prior to her work at St. Olaf, she was acquisitions librarian at Yale Divinity School Library. Lund, author of A Bainton Bibliography, has assisted on a number of St. Olaf College study abroad programs in Europe and the Middle East and has attended the Oslo International Summer School. |

| Cataloging Associate Michelle Yarmakov is responsible for providing copy cataloging records for monograph acquisitions for the Hong Kierkegaard Library, part of the St. Olaf College Libraries electronic catalog, Bridge. A graduate of St. Norbert College, with a major in international studies, she also earned an M.A. degree in Russian area studies from the University of Minnesota. She was prepared for her cataloging work by positions held earlier at Wilson Library of the University of Minnesota. Michelle served in the Peace Corps in Turkmenistan from 1993 to 1995. |

| Library Assistant Don Janke , a St. Olaf graduate from the class of 1965, serves as a volunteer in the Kierkegaard Library during the academic year. During June, July, and August, Don works on our staff supporting students and scholars participating in our summer programs. Performing a variety of ongoing tasks, Don has been especially helpful in developing our collection of newspaper articles about Soren Kierkegaard and related topics, doing bibliographic searching to determine new acquisitions, maintaining our periodical collection, and working with incoming gift collections. Don is also an active member of the Friends of the Hong Kierkegaard Library. |
