President 1999-2000: Dr. John Norris. The Society has been
meeting each month during the southern academic year. This year the
Society has been reading texts from Kierkegaard's works combined with
discussion of parallels in film and literature. There are still a
couple of issues of the Søren Kierkegaard Society Bulletin to
be finished and sent out, but please note that the Society is now
going to be organized on a more local basis from this year. It will
run in connection with the Søren Kierkegaard Research Unit and
will offer meetings for local members. The overseas activity will now
be run entirely by the Søren Kierkegaard Research Unit.

Kierkegaard House Foundation, 5174 E. 90 Old Dutch Road,

visiting scholar program of the Kierkegaard Library at St. Olaf by
offering long-term residencies for periods of 4 to 12 months. Each of
the three apartments (2 two-bedroom, 1 one-bedroom) provides a living
room, kitchen, bath, and single private quarters. The house is
situated on the bank of Heath Creek within easy walking distance of
the Kierkegaard Library. Supplementary scholarship grants for travel
assistance and subsistence may also be made according to individual
needs, as well as supplementary grants for the preparation of
