BELGIUM: KIERKEGAARD WERKGROEP, (IKN 226): The Werkgroeup discussed the theme of anxiety in Kierkegaard at the meetings on 30.3.01 and 27.4.01, and Kierkegaard on time and eternity at the meeting on 25.5.01. The purpose of the Centre is to carry out and promote Kierkegaard research and to establish a new and complete edition of all of Kierkegaard's writings. Translations of the Danish edition into English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese are also envisaged. There will also be an electronic version containing the full printed version and Kierkegaard's collected drafts. The electronic version will also contain second editions of individual works whose republication was supervised by Kierkegaard.
In November 2000, 30 people were listed as working at the Centre: 15 in permanent positions, 15 on scholarships.
Ten of those on scholarships came from overseas. A full list of those attached to the Centre can be found in the list of centres attached to Copenhagen University's Faculty of Theology to be found in the Lektionskatalog, Det Teologiske Fakultet, published by Copenhagen University each semester.

SØREN KIERKEGAARD INTERNATIONAL MUSIC ARCHIVE: New Søren Kierkegaard internet site. At www.kierkegaard-kultur.dk can be found CDs with Kierkegaard texts and music. Also to be found are the Regina ensemble with new music to Kierkegaard texts and music from Golden Age Denmark/music from Kierkegaard's contemporaries. There is also an international bibliography of musical works and dramatic works relevant to Kierkegaard, together with the International Søren Kierkegaard Music Archive.
HUNGARY: KIERKEGAARD CABINET IN BUDAPEST (IKN 227):
The Kierkegaard Cabinet opened in March, 2.3.2001 at Budapest University, Eotvos Lorand, hosted by the Institute of Aesthetics. There was an inauguration ceremony and panel discussion. The Cabinet was founded by Peter Nadas. The centre is an independent foundation aiming to support Kierkegaard scholarship in Hungary and Central Eastern Europe; also to help the translation of Kierkegaard's works into Hungarian. The Cabinet has a special library and an electronic database.

Nov. 16, 2001: Meeting at the Kierkegaard Library lobby for the unveiling of 2 bronze busts of Howard and Edna Hong. This was followed by a luncheon and a discussion of Kierkegaard's text, "At a Graveside". The discussion was led by St. Olaf College President Thomforde, Gordon Marino, Howard Hong, Jamie Lorentzen and others.
Danish Instruction to be offered at the Library, July 2002. Sinead Ladegaard Knox, Kierkegaard scholar and Danish native speaker: 4 week course in Danish for Kierkegaard scholars. Sessions will meet 3-4 hours each morning. Cost: $500 US for tuition and housing at St. Olaf College. Contact: Gordon Marino by Feb. 15, 2002: (email: marino@stolaf.edu).
The Kierkegaard Library Fellowship Program: Summer fellowships for research in residence are offered to scholars for use of the collection between June 1 and November 15. The awards include campus housing and a $250.00 U.S. per month stipend. Scholarships are also available at other times of the year.
