TIME LINE FOR 2010 OFF-CAMPUS INTERIMS

Feb/March: Conversations between Interim Instructor and IOS about final budgets, mentees and emergency back-up person for programs.

April 3: Off-Campus Interim Instructors Meeting. 3:45-5:00 p.m., Black Ballroom

April 7: Off-Campus Interims Open House. 4:30-6:30 p.m. Black & Gold Ballroom

May 1: Spring application deadline. Students submit a complete application with academic adviser and interim instructor signatures, along with $80 check, and an unofficial transcript to International & Off-Campus Studies.

May 2-6: International & Off-Campus studies will make sure transcripts are attached, send lists to Dean of Students Office and check Academic Probation list to determine any concerns.

May 6-12: Interim Instructors review applications, hold interviews if they wish, and make decisions. Some spaces may be held for fall if the instructor wishes.

May 13: Interim Instructors will inform International & Off-Campus Studies of their decisions.

May 15: Decision letters will be sent to applicants.

May 2 - October 5: Rolling Admissions. Students submit a complete application with academic adviser and interim instructor signature, along with $80 check, and an unofficial transcript to International & Off-Campus Studies. IOCS will send lists to the Dean of Students’ Office and check Academic Probation list to determine any concerns. Complete applications will be sent every Friday to Interim Instructors. Instructors are asked to return the applications within 7 days with a note of the action to be taken. Upon receipt of information from instructors, decision letters will be sent to applicants.

September 30: $250.00 student payment due.

October 8: Decisions as to whether a course can go with the number of participants enrolled.

October 15: Interim Instructor Orientation Meeting. 3:30-5:00.

October 31: Balance of program fee for ALL Interims due in Business Office

TBA: Interim Registration

November 11: Interim Student Orientation Meetings.

December 2: Interim Instructor’s Orientation Meeting. 3:30-5:00 p.m.

January 4-30: Interim (These dates are flexible based on needs of the program and/or availability of air space).

February 8: Interim Welcome Back Event - 3:30-4:30 p.m. Black & Gold Ballroom

February 11: Interim Grades due at 9:00 am.

February 11: Returned Interim Instructors Meeting. 3:30-5:00 p.m.

February 15: Interim instructor's financial reports due to Director, International & Off- Campus Studies.

February 15: Narrative reports due for those courses first offered in January, 2010 and being proposed again for January, 2011.

March 1: Interim Instructor's narrative report due to Director, International & Off- Campus Studies .
