Course guidelines and intended learning outcomes for General Education requirements
In May 2005, the St. Olaf faculty adopted a series of statements of intended learning outcomes for most of the requirements in the College's general education curriculum. Learning outcomes for the remaining requirements have been developed and adopted in conjunction with revisions to the guidelines for these requirements.
Below are links to the description, course guidelines, and statement of intended student learning outcomes for each GE requirement. For requirements that have recently been revised, the link includes both the description and guidelines for the revised version of the requirement, and the description, guidelines, and learning outcomes for the current version. Revisions will not take effect until Fall 2008, at which time they will apply to entering students only, not to students who have already begun their studies at St. Olaf.
