Minutes of the FDC Meeting November 5, 2004

Present: Kris MacPherson (chair), Patrick Dale, Shelly Dickinson, Jeanine Grenberg, Martin Hodel, Bill Thornton.

Absent: David Schodt. Arne Ostebee

  1. We opened the meeting by discussing the minutes from the October 8th meeting.
  2. Shelly gave an update on plans for the Mellby lecture. Things are ready to go in either Viking Theater or one of the ballrooms, and we are still waiting on Paul Humke to identify his introducer.
  3. Proposals for released-time grants were discussed. It was agreed that we would revisit the proposals next week.
