Faculty Career Enhancement Grant Applications

I. INTERNAL PROCEDURE FOR EVALUATING APPLICATIONS

1) The internal St. Olaf deadline for receipt of applications (to the office of the Dean of the Humanities) is noon on the date found on the [Deadlines list]. A complete application at this stage consists of a project proposal (in full accordance with ACM FaCE criteria) and a CV. The applicant should email an electronic version of these materials to Pam Dresow (dresow@stolaf.edu) and also send seven paper copies of all application materials to the Office of the Provost.

2) The Faculty Life Committee will review all proposals and rank them.

3) The Provost of St. Olaf will review the committee’s suggestions, and decide which applications should be supported.  The Provost will then write letters of support for the top two applications.  These will be forwarded to the ACM for competition among all of the grant applications submitted.

All questions regarding these grants should be directed to the ACM’s St. Olaf representative, Professor David Schodt.

II. SUMMARY OF ACM CRITERIA

The Faculty Life Committee will evaluate applications for the ACM FaCE Grant according to ACM’s criteria found at the ACM FaCE Faculty Career Development site.
